Nothing can currently be purchased or reserved. This page explains the closed service and intended Claim rules. It is not a contract for an available purchase.

The place and the Owner

THE ONE is one public place for one person and one sentence a day. A Claim would grant temporary display and publishing status within its fixed presentation.

Owner means only the temporary holder of that place. It grants no ownership of THE ONE, NanoCorp, the domain, code or brand. It grants no financial asset, future revenue, investment return or resale right.

A Reign ends when the next valid Claim completes. No minimum duration is guaranteed. The previous Owner receives no payment from that Claim. The end of a Reign does not itself create a refund entitlement; mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

Price and payment

The first Claim price is 1.00 EUR. Each completed Claim sets the next price at 10% more than the price paid, rounded to the nearest cent. Half cents round upwards. Prices are calculated in integer cents.

The intended order is display name, first sentence, content validation, then payment at the exact displayed price. Owner attribution requires authenticated payment confirmation and final validation. A checkout return alone would not confirm a Claim.

A conflicting or unattributed payment must be resolved explicitly, including any required refund. A refund is complete only when confirmed by the payment provider. No payment methods or high-value payment acceptance are offered on this closed site.

Sentences and identity

The intended limit is one definitive sentence per UTC calendar day, midnight to midnight. The first published sentence uses that day’s slot. Each sentence is plain text, at most 140 Unicode code points, without HTML or links.

Names and sentences must not contain illegal content, harassment, fraud or impersonation. A display name is not a verified identity. No identity verification is offered here.

Owners would not be able to edit published sentences or ended Reigns. The Archives would preserve Reign numbers, approved names, start and end times, duration, price paid and dated sentences. Applicable legal and privacy obligations take precedence over archive permanence.

Exceptional events

Illegal or fraudulent content may require removal. Fraud, contested payments and chargebacks require investigation, not an automatic reassignment based on an unverified notification.

An outage or security incident may interrupt access or require exceptional suspension. Availability does not establish that a payment or attribution has succeeded. No uninterrupted service is promised.

Nothing here excludes mandatory withdrawal, refund or other consumer rights. No withdrawal waiver is requested, and no sale can be accepted through this site.
